Every entrepreneur has a story. We invite you to listen to Tim’s. Tim is a home builder with over 20 years’ experience. He is the “son” in Turner & Son Homes. Tim is the CEO and still works with his partner Ben, his dad, who has been building since 1964.
Tim’s story began in the family home-building business, where he built homes for sale in developed neighborhoods with his father. Tim recognized a need to shift his focus away from building in traditional neighborhoods and speculative building business model to building on individual private lands. But moving the direction of the company was no small undertaking.
As the business grew and adapted to the changing environment, Tim recognized a need to transition ownership from one generation to the next while maintaining a working relationship with his father. Unfortunately, not many people can say they have successfully done that.
Today, Tim focuses on building high-performance teams. He believes in putting the right people in the right place and supplying them with the right tools and training to perform at their peak levels.
